Remember the 1966-1971 gothic vampire soap opera, "Dark Shadows"? As it turns out, Johnny Depp was obsessed by it when he was growing up. Depp's production company has acquired the rights, and he plans to play the character of Barnabas Collin. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Link.’

I used to love that show! In grammer school Terry, Eric and I would walk home from school as fast as we could to ensure not missing the opening credits. What a poineering concept that show was.
I know! With Buffy and Angel, I can see it in today's world, but I just can't imagine how it got so popular in the 60's world. I had a friend who wanted to be called Angelique.
I want to be Victoria Collins then!!!
