My Daemon

Nice, I like the lynx. I wonder what its final form will be. The Golden Compass site tells me I've had 5 daemons so far. I liked the first ocelot, but I disagreed with the description (which seems to stay the same regardless of the animal I get), so it transformed to a wolf. Later I saw a mouse, and I must have missed one before the lynx. Please keep adding your input. I have 10 days before my daemon settles.

By the way, if you're a person who can handle a strong attack upon religion, this is an excellent series to read. It's marketed as young adult, but I think it's quite sophisticated. His concept of daemon as soul/friend/familiar is fascinating, as well as his take on alternate realities. Many of his concepts and images have stayed with me for years.

Another chemo treatment today, four more left after this!
