I'm still here and doing fine. I don't want anyone to worry due to my lack of recent posts. I had a nice Octavia Butler post this morning, which got eaten by my computer, so I'm still working on getting that one finished.
This may be TMI (I think it's funny now, so I share it), but last night I was up into the wee hours as my esophagus apparently tried to birth a monstrous glob of gelatinous capsules melded together. I thought I might be having a heart attack. I highly recommend not lying down to read after taking a handful of nighttime calcium and medications. I made the mistake of limiting my water intake before bed, which only made the progress of my wee bairn to my stomach more agonizing.
A lovely side-note: when I got my obligatory colonoscopy at age 50, I asked to be awake and unmedicated for the process. I watched in horror as the doctor pointed to the screen, showing my nighttime medication capsules intact in my colon. The letters printed on the outside of the capsules were clearly legible. He told me he sees this all the time. I wonder if any of us actually benefits from taking nighttime medication.

Amazing!
I'll have to make sure I take plenty of waters with pills.
