Angolan Rabbit

This Angolan rabbit reminds me of a poem I read as a kid:
God in his wisdom invented the fly
And then forgot to tell us why.

[correction:
God in his wisdom
Made the fly
And then forgot
To tell us why
--Ogden Nash]

Do you think they have personalities? Develop affection? Show curiosity? Are they Wascally Wabbits?

As with most overly-bred creatures, my hunch is that they are eating and pooping machines. I'd be happy to be proven wrong. There is something disturbing to me about such useless things, so far removed from their place in the vast ecosystem, being allowed to consume resources and breed.

From Spluch.

They hardly seem like rabbits, that's for sure! And I ought to know!
