Sick to death of being knocked down by my biweekly sinus infections, I've gone back to lavaging my nasals. I used to do this many years ago, but got out of the habit once my sinuses improved. Neti pots, snot pots, or (I just made this one up) snot tubs are an easy way to irrigate sinuses and really help with allergies and recurring infections. I'd forgotten how good I feel afterwards.
I'm glad to see more neti pots available now, including the SinuCleanse one I just bought. I like the light weight and portability of the plastic one compared to the ceramic ones. I got mine, including 30 packets of quick-dissolving salt, for $13.99 at Amazon.
If you've never tried it, it's not hard or painful. I highly recommend it.

Omg, I just watched this video to the end. I don't recommend blowing your nose all over the floor like that.
I'll e-mail you something along this line. But, really now, Yuk!
Thanks for the info. I got rid of my ceramic neti when I began to suspect it was introducing more bacteria than it removed. I like the plastic one I got, but if it ever becomes a problem I'll look into the rhino horn.
